If you've watched "American Pickers" on The History Channel, you've no doubt let your mind wander through your own attic or over-stuffed storage unit. There have been collectors, pack-rats and wierdos exhibiting their life's work with the hope of a payday. The vast majority of the pick's visit collectors who are trying to get rid of some of the crowding caused by their collection or maybe even raise some needed cash. On the other hand there are the ones who invite Mike and Frank out to see the
pile but come to the realization that they cannot part with it. This is where the show should morph into "Hoarders" and get to cleaning house.
Folks...it's just junk. If it happens to be worth thousands of dollars, it's because some other hoarder wants it. Let it go. Odds are that you don't have an original draft of the Magna Carta propping up the corner of your pile.
